I think the car looks fantastic. Very aggressive. Hopefully a CS version coming. Not feeling the pretty blue hue tho. Too feminine for me. I just Thank god BMW is still putting out rip snorting 6 banger ICE powertrains in cars. How much longer who knows.

Our government forcing e cars down our throat is depressing. The infrastructure is no where near where it needs to be if everyone bought one. Of course that does not matter to the tree huggers and rock lickers. I get the need and there is some cool stuff happening with e cars but I don't want one. Ever. So for the 5% of enthusiasts that no longer wish to live in a world without internal combustion please BMW keep giving us what we crave like this bad azz little sedan. Let the other 95% and the next generation save the planet. Don't worry, guys like us will be extinct soon. Wow, Got off track. Rant over.

Did you have any pics of the car with normal zoom lens, or only these wide angle shots because you couldnt get a better one?


I ask because wide angle shots are kinda useless to convey how the car looks to human eye. What you see is not what we see on these pics which exaggerate pics of the car on the center and distort everything on the periphery.

Only in the first video.There were so many people around the car at the event it was hard to get much time inside the car to take pics.The car was actually unlocked when i took the outdoor pics at BMW Canada but i didn’t have permission to go inside the car.

Sure, the general concensus seems to be that the F87 is a better looking car, but its still way better than the G80. That baby blue isn't doing any favors.

What's weird is that the power to weight ratio seems to be the same. The 0.1-0.2 sec 0-60 Improvement would all be down to widder tires/traction.

I was able to see the new G87 M2 at the 50 years of M Cars celebration in Toronto this week.

They started off the event with some Mini track drives with a professional driver in various M cars.We then had to wait a couple of hours for the M2 to be unveiled inside.

The car was Zandvoort Blue with the 930M Bi Color wheels.I prefer the 930M wheels in the Bi Color over the all black wheels.They look really good on the car.Unfortunately the lighting at the event was terrible which completely washed out the color of the car making it look like a greyish white.

Overall i really liked the design.The only design feature that I felt looked odd was the lower middle area in the front bumper.It is completely open in the middle area exposing some interior parts.It almost looks like a design feature is missing in that area.It is also going to be brutal for keeping clean.Bugs and road debris will definitely collect in that area.

Luckily the next day i was able to see the same car at BMW Canada in natural light.I actually really liked the color.It shows the aggressive design features and huge fender flares.

I would still like to see the car in Toronto Red before i order one.One of the sales guys i know said that he saw the car at a BMW event in Indianapolis back in June in TR and he said it looked fantastic.
