It may go up one more time and then level off by 3rd or 4th quarter. Wouldn't expect any lowering to make a difference until in 2024.

I am hoping to save enough to not have to finance, when I first put my deposit I was expecting to finance 70-75% but I'm okay with the wait so that can be brought down to 12-15% just for the purpose of paying it off in 3 months for the boost to my credit.

I think toward the end of Q2 or beginning of Q3 we will see incentives around financing, especially if we get two more months of declining inflation - the fed has announcements about Jan real soon.

Why lease and lock in depreciation when you can own it and most likely drive it nearly for free for 2-3yrs.

Some folks might have their tax and work perks laid out favoring lease over purchase. They may still be able to buy the car at the end of the lease.
