Lol I know. But, figured I’d throw it out in case anyone wanted it bad enough without a long wait. I’m sure someone’s gonna take it from them.

I would be shocked to see a HEA come in with the CF buckets. Carbon trim, possibly, but full carbon package seems off to me.

Carbon Fiber Buckets aren't available until later this spring. Only the regular bucket seats are initially available.

This has been discussed in another thread.

I understand, that was not the point of my post. See back what I was commenting on.

On a side note, the cf buckets are made as they are in the "marketing vehicles" on tour (theybwere in the car at Rolex 24) so they could be in a HEA if BMW so chose to do so

Just a reminder, the carbon fiber package for the US market begins production next month. SOP 03/23.

I'm just trying to understand what vehicle dude is advertising. If it's carbon pack early delivery then I'm interested. And by early I mean April/May.

I don't want to take delivery of a '23 in August.

My gyess is its carbon trim package.

If you fall in the first allocation release, and from what I have recently read and heard, you should get a '23 in May/June, give or take (if all goes well and the stars align).

If you dont make the first allocation, all bets are off as to timing amd model year.

I can relate. I do not want to take delivery of a 2023 in June given that MY24 production will begin on week 35/36.

Thats what I encountered with my M240. Received allocation in July and luckily got bumped to MY2023.

Now if customer receives first allication slot and production starts in say March or April and delivery isnt until August, not sure anything can be done about.

That worked out well for you. You got ID8 instead of ID7.

The first and second priority one allocation should have their G87 well prior to July/August.

Fingers crossed being at #4 I’ll still get a car this year. Is there a reason why no one wants a 2024 model? Nothings changed is there?

I think folks are hoping for another paint option me included. But it's more likely than not that everything is the same until LCI update. However there is also fear that update is "emissions-related" and will come with hybrid assist and or automatic-only transmission.

Edit: even if they release individual colors, I will skip an auto-only version (at least that's what I'm saying for now haha).
