Thanks!

No idea when you'll be able to see one, let alone drive it. They'll all be spoken for in the foreseeable future. You might see one at dealership that's going to a customer or find one on the lot from a dealer trying to sell with a large ADM. Might have better luck asking someone in the forum to see their car. I'm sure someone near you that's on the forum wouldn't mind, M2 folks are cool that way.

Thanks Tag! No biggie. I just figured they may arrive at dealerships early to get a look at them. I know a test drive is out of the question.

I would do Imola Red in a heart beat. Much better than TR IMO. But my order is for TR and I'm fine with that.

I wish we could get something sporty and loud on the G87 interior as well. I will settle for M Highlights. I like Cognac but it is too "classy" for me on this car.

Enjoy.
I agree. The M highlights make it look a little louder and that's my choice,, but I would kill for something like Silverstone in TR.

In addition to individual paint, I would love the Full Merino seats available for the other M cars.

It doesn't matter, both options are cast and will need to be upgraded either way.

I like how the silver shows the concavity shape on the bi-color wheels.

Love it in Toronto Red and Brooklyn Gray but don't care for It's a Boy Blue. But to each their own, I drive a Thundernight Metallic M240ix that my wife calls "Barney."

Am I the only one that would prefer no exhaust tips like the E46M3 was?

We use to call that the "outlaw" look.

My god, the brooklyn grey looks SO good. I love the stance, the fender flares, and carbon trim in the interior. I look at this and wonder, 'what's not to love?'

It's going to be one epic car. In the G series M cars, I'm sure it'll go down as the best.

My problem isn't so much which color I would pick, but if I'd get this over a prev gen GT4... I thought I knew, but these pics make it so hard.

Seriously tho it’s the first mod I would do. Reduce a healthy amount of unsprung weight, improve handling & turn in + better aesthetics (subjective ofcourse)

With a rightly specced G87 & further work, one could shave off a good amount of fat.

Going manual, CF Roof , Buckets, Ti exhaust, Battery change AGM to Li-ion, and lastly around 40lbs + - going from the stock cast wheels to OEM forged / Aftermarket

Alot of the heavy weight can be attributed to BMW cost savings & in order to neuter it compared to it’s older siblings.

Thanks for the explanation. So I could just put a pair of the m4 wheels on?

Yezzir , I think the 963m or 827m would look absolutely sexy on this platform

In addition to the weight issue, its a strength issue. Forged wheels are stronger than cast.

ZB/black interior/bicolor wheels

Clean. Brings it all together. Maybe conservative but I like it.
