I don't think the average buyer is in their 30s as the car costs $60K to $80K. Even though people seem to make more money, I still don't think a lot of 30 year-olds are in the financial situation to buy a car like this. It makes sense that the average buyer is in their late 40s plus, we're not talking about Corola's here, the average forum member though, that is certainly different as you can pick up a used BMW cheap and there are a lot of enthusiasts who aren't owners yet.
I am mid 30's and getting an m2 and an m3 this year, could pay cash for both but might finance 50% and pay off in 6ish months. The world has changed a lot in the past few years, I think people changed how they make and spend money.

Lucky! I'm lucky to have seen Elton John on his last tour, but nothing compared to in his prime, or many others I missed of the era. (I swear I was born in the wrong era).

No, cause I didn't. I have seen Pink Floyd, Santana, Lou Reed, David Bowie, Tom Petty and a hand full of others in their early years to prime but would love to have seen the Beatles.

I did see my first Flyers game in 1974...

Here is how I see it. the avg owners will be 20 somethings with no other bills or a good job with no kids etc. OR 40 somethings and grown kids with the occasional old timer and wealthier person. Although this doesn't discredit anybody I just think that's what it's going to be.

Mid 40's. I'm still debating if the G87 is my next car, take advantage of hopefully some F87 depreciation, or just finally go Porsche.

And the G87 will be my 9th (or 10th if you count one particulate short ownership period) BMW.

Based on classifications recently outlined by AndrejMi, I’ve updated my status to “occasional old timer”. Please note the change.

I didn't expect to make it to 40, so when I was 24 I bought my mid-life crisis car. An 88 928 s4.

You expect to make it to 100?
