I know, terrible, and even the M4 CSL has it. I guess it works, ugly as it is. I'll be keeping mine...

All M cars should have forged wheels! Even previous gen m-lites had forged wheels
Though if these wheels had direct impact with the kerb then I don't think even forged wheels would have saved them.

While I agree I was going to say the same thing, being forged wouldn't have prevented wheel damage in this case.

When we ordered our Ferrari Roma, forged wheels were also an option and not included as standard... but then again apple carplay was also a 6k AUD option

I’m sure they’ll throw on new wheels and list this on cars and bids soon. “Used 200 miles, just didn’t fit my lifestyle”

Yup. The rear bumper damage is probably from the wheel actually. The front bumper might have some light damage as well.

It's hard to believe this kind of stuff still happens - you'd think that the dealership would limit who can move new / customer cars around, and ensure that those employees are trustworthy.
Unbelievable.

Someone is going to have a reduced salary for the next few months to pay back the damages or at lease pay for the excess.

Yup, in my state, you don't need to disclose the damage if the repairs are under 3% of the MSRP... that could go a long way if you buy the parts at cost and don't charge yourself for labor... so you don't even have to be super-shady about it.

Well it will be a blessing if the broken wheels took some of the brunt from the suspension. If the subframes are bent, this could easily be $8000-$12000 in damage, including a new steering rack, etc.

It's not in inventory. So, either they had sold it and now have to deal with the angry buyer, or it's been pulled. I'm guessing there's damage that's not pictured and thus the ultimate cost is closer to $20k. I'd say you'd want an M School car before this.
