They confirmed through testing on a model with ACC. Screens installed and then car driven for a week plus frequently using that system and no issues reported.

Thanks for the reply. I would still like to see a version that doesn't cover the sensor. Maybe two pieces for the center section would be an option.

It would be easy enough to cut the mesh around the sensor. It's stainless, so would not be a rust issue and you can paint the cut ends.

I ordered that piece from radiatorgrillstore.com $70 but you can order the part from Amazon for $37 and cut it to fit the center and side ridiators as well. You would have plenty left over if you make a mistake.

My grill screens came in 2 days from England..
That's crazy with free shipping. I also have a KG Splitter coming which should complete the front end. Then I just have to figure out exhaust. |

are you happy with how it turned out? i know it usually looks better IRL too. This is exactly what I want to do to make the front a bit more uniform without having to get a splitter, im a bit worried the maxtons will make it too low.

I think is what that somewhat awkward front needed and actually decided not to install the Maxton V1 splitter I had purchased in case anyone is interested. I removed the grill and had it painted for $300. You can order a new part as well for $165 plus shipping online. Did not want to wait several weeks to get it from IND, turned around time was 4 days.

Does anyone know if the front lip section can be removed/replaced without taking off the entire front bumper? Looking around there it might be possible but not sure if there are hidden fasteners on the back side.

Nice is that a Maxton V1 a lip? Can you install lips over this IND painted lip addition? Does anyone know? Yes querry here too...is this a DITY or a shop job? Does bumper need to come off? If so then time for other work to be done I guess. Does it require recalibration of sensors if bumper is taken off BTW if anyone knows?

i have the bumper cover on order. the current build time for them is 4 weeks.
as mentioned in a previous post IND paint match is not as exact as before. my painted reflectors don’t match that great and my car is 2 weeks old and did not sit at the dealer for more than 1 day during pdi |

Following up on the above question. What’s a lip macron or other install below the painted front grille piece look like?
Assuming it’s possible since it’s the same structure you are bolting the lip into right? Would it look right? |
