Brooklyn gray looks a lot better in person than it does in pictures. If you get the blue calipers it mashed it look like a blue gray

G87 doesn’t need a special color to stand out, F87 definitely does

G87 is very noticeable regardless

Yeah I get it…I just meant color wise. Just don’t find anything great about grey though I really do like frozen grey. Have been kicking around the idea of getting that maybe over Twilight.

I like the color a lot, however frozen sticks out amongst a sea of gray. Brooklyn was way too blue for me.

I am split between the frozen gray and the purple. Do you have any complaints about the frozen paint in general or maintenance? I was gonna get the carbon roof/pack anyways so there's not a huge price diff between frozen and purple.
Yours looks great!

Very happy so far with the paint. PPF on the hood and all of the nose. Dr. Beasley’s follow the plan and it is absolutely easy so far.

If you haven't seen Frozen Grey in person you need to.
I wasn't even considering the color until I saw it at a dealership.
Pictures don't do it justice at all and it has so much depth to it for being flat.

Yeah debating on getting it but a deciding factor is if I am wanting to do a full body PPF stealth wrap. Need to ask the cost of that.

This.

It’s honestly depressing how colorless cars are now. Look anywhere on the highway, in parking lots, etc. and you’ll see a sea of blacks, whites, and the greys and silvers in between. Easily 90% monochromatic. Among the rest there’s mostly dark blue or red. There are very few colors that actually pop.

The G87s I’ve noticed in the wild were either black or grey. They also blended right in with the cars that were all around them.

At home, my daily is black, my wife’s is white, and my daughter’s is silver. I’m very happy with my choice of ZB for my M2.

No disrespect for anyone who doesn’t choose a “loud” color, but for a little sports car, I thought I’d have some fun. Looking around at what’s on the road, I’m definitely in the minority.

Bingo…that is how I feel. That being said, I also have my limits. I can’t do Java Green lol. That is too loud for me.

It's not just cars it's literally everything.

Look at pics from the 90's and early 2000's. Everything was super bright and vibrant. Clothes, furniture, cars, and buildings. Now we live in a minimalistic world where everything is going simple and bland.

Absolutely. Decades ago, even refrigerators and stoves were bright blue, yellow, pink, etc. Cars now look like their bland home appliance cousins.

I think it also makes a difference if you have other vehicles.
My M2 will be my daily, so I went for Grigio. If it was going to be a weekend car, I’d likely have gone with Voodoo, but I don’t want to drive Voodoo every day.

100%. I have a Corvette so follow Corvette forums. The number of people ordering white & grey Corvettes just baffles me.

These two pics illustrate your point.

At home my M2 is Toronto Red Metallic, my Z06 is Inferno Orange Metallic, my Grand Sport before that was also Inferno Orange Metallic, wife's X3MC Marina Bay Blue Metallic, and my son's '03 Wrangler is Silver Metallic.

I will be rocking Twilight Purple everyday with a big grin on my face and will look back at it after parking and say “damn you look good”.

I respect it, there’s certainly nothing wrong with a loud colored daily, I just decided it wasn’t my preference.

Eventually, I’ll have an understated BMW for daily duty, and a bright colored GT4 RS for occasional use 😁
