We just don't know. I do know that a 20% tariff will make the M2 cost like and M4 and I'll buy the M4.
I’m right there with you. Either that or I will get a CPO M2…save even more money.

Expect the CPO's to jump up if the tarrifs jack the price up.

The way my car is spec'd an M4 becomes the cheaper option with tarrifs.

My M2 is $82k increase by 20-25% and it's a $98-103k car. Add to that 12% for tax and title and all of a sudden an M2 will cost $110k or more out the door.

An M4 spec'd the way I want in Venetian Violet with carbon buckets and full individual leather comes in at $99k + 12% tax and title.

I think the M2 is a non viable car for the US with tarrifs because it will cost as much as an M4.

So for me it's just a waiting game to ss what pans out.

Just called genius and my car is slotted to being production on week 12 (Mid March), with an estimated dealer delivery for mid April.

This is for a Voodoo Blue and the order was accepted on November 4th.

Did you have a different production week before? Or is this the first time you're calling genius about it?

First time calling as we're now getting closer. My SA initially told me that the car should be at the dealership in March/April, so just starting to get impatient lol

Yup, I hear ya my man. I’m at $80k, a 20% tariff gets me to $100k. I am not paying that much for the M2.

If there are tariffs I just keep driving my current cars and use my current tech....

I hope there is some price protection for the individual orders that are yet to be produced and imported.

Curious does calling get more information than you get from going to mygarage and doing the F12 trick to see order status and estimated production date?

I think so. Another guy is waiting in TP and his build week is also in May. I think that is the month for that color. I do not know how long it would be to take delivery after the build is done. I am thinking July??

Yeah, if we sent in our order and it was accepted, we should not have to worry about it but I guess we will see.

So is it confirmed that if prices go up we have to fork over the difference if the car isn't delivered yet?

I justed ordered an M2 this weekend. I have a production number but no build week identified or vin yet.
