There seems to be unusual activitiy in the atmosphere. We went from 71F to 32F in 12 hrs. That was yesterdy which caught alot of folks unexpectedly with short sleeves and no jacket. This morning, it was 34F and the car drives wonderful in this kinda weather (dry and cool)!

Actually i hate it. I hear that "ding" sound first which almost give me a heart attack (cuz I usually associate the "ding" sound as the car reporting a problem) and you look at the instrument panel and the freaking snow flake is staring at you. I am very familiar with the "ding" sound during my water pump malfunction and everytime I hear it, it brings back those bad memories.

It has been cold lately, but everytime I want to bitch about it, I just think about how gooddamn hot and miserable this past summer was...I still wouldn't trade this cold for the hot and nastiness of the past summer

I don't mind the cold so much i guess... but cold without rain does us no good. It needs to rain with this weather so we can have a bomb ass boarding season. =)

That was a few miles north east of Lancaster Ca on the way to Edwards AFB. It was 42 when I left the house.

Oh boy, cold front is hitting the lonestar states and the surrounding states. It was like 30 to 32 degree last night. I was out at 6 am this morning and it was 33 degree. We are very fortunate the rain did not come this morning so we escaped the sleet and icy roads. They say the temp will drop by noon today and the rain will be here later in the evening rush hour.

Anyone want to come down here and do some ice-drift (lol). I plan to go home a bit early and try to beat the rain before I get caught doing the icy-drift on my lovely e90.

I heard that Oklahoma is still with no power coz of the winter storm and more than a dozen folks there have died as a result of no power and no heat. So get your flash lights and generator and water ready.

This cold front also just push gas price down to 2.18/gal (from 2.29/gal) since ppl are not out and about braving the cold and rain.

I live like 4 miles from the Pacific Ocean and it was 35 degrees when I left for work. I was disappointed that I didn't see any ice. The cold is much better than the heat...you can sleep better at night and you can bundle up. If it gets too hot, you can be naked and it still won't do you any good.

Sat morning I checked the chicken water at about 9 and it had ice in it. Sunday morning I went out at about the same time and there was a solid inch of ice I had to break through to get them some more water. Then I turned on the hose and nothing came out . . . I used some of my Christmas gift cards to get one of those indoor/outdoor thermostats to keep track for a while. Man, are we going to have nice peaches this year!!!
