Right, that's what I'm saying. Time yourself over several weeks to get a feel for how long it takes. Whether you just relax and cruise or drive all aggressively, you'll probably find it makes no noticeable difference in how long the trip takes -- because of these X factors, like timed traffic lights and dogs jumping out. It can be eye-opening to discover this.

I notice that often whenever I accelerate fast after a light, to make the next light.. 8 times out of 10, I catch the light, and have to watch everyone slowly creep up behind me as they save gas.
