Yeah who knows. Can't imagine that'll be the case in the US.

V Blue

The guy on the right. His jacket looks closer to B.G. I been staring at this pic for way longer than I would like to admit. Its the most accurate representation yet.

My deposit was accepted the 2nd week of June. Is it unrealistic to be behind the wheel of this thing by April, May??

Hate it, for some reason here it reminds me of that pale blue chalk used on old school blackboards.

If you're first or second in line then for sure.

If you are inline for allocation #1, maybe #2 then it is doable. Otherwise, probably not.

gold 826m wheel B.G. or sapphire black

I want those gold wheels so V Blue wouldn't work.

Look how much more angular that front bumper is from an actual BMW leak.. it is way more aggressive than the previous BS-quality leaked photos. Feel sorry for those who pulled their allocation based off of previous leaks

So if you are expecting something looking a bit different, you're are actively practicing self-deception..

Even the pricing (USD) is not that surprising; it's going to start at 63.9k base + $1,000 for destination charge, with every single cool option à la carte, to the sky.

To save themselves from bad press, there will never be an up-charge for the manual option specifically in the US. BMW will find some other way to pad the bill for the extra 500 € they are charging the Germany market for a clutch pedal.

I remember the days of BMW past when we saw a new model and didn't have to convince ourselves to like it.

I've budgeted for carbon roof seats and M wheels. These are mandatory so they will make money on options for sure!

Yes.

Photos never display the grand scope of how angular/3-D a vehicle really is. That can only be appreciated in person.

Indeed.

I'm a sunroof kind of guy but the new M Performance wheels are interesting and not just a cosmetic but a mechanical upgrade.

BMW copied BBS' FI-R popular wheel design, where they milled out chunks of openings in the wheel spokes to reduce weight, without having to decrease the overall circumference of the wheel.

So, those wheels are extremely lite for 20 inch size spinners, roughly 17lbs, yet are forged, so also strong AF. Best of both worlds, so to speak.

Another thing to take away from the picture, the car sits pretty low. A drop and a front lip could be really low.

Pre-pandemic BBS' FI-R went for about $10,000 for a set, expect the BMW version to retail for about 6 to 7k without tires.. Ouch.. An expensive proposition but if you could swing it, it is certainly a sweet option that would add to the aesthetics and performance..
