I think like most here, this would be my next M car if i get another BMW to replace my F80.

The general shape im good with especially the normal grills.
I hope this one has real side vents, hood dome, and no shiny black trim on the bottom. The taillights are the weakest point of the 2series for me.

They should just take a damn E46 M3 and tweak it a bit with some modern styling elements like Porsche does with 911.

... and despite the "MSRP" on those websites, these (almost-new) G80's/G80's are selling for $10-20k above.

CA offered me MSRP with 1% markup on financing. Or $2k over MSRP if I just buy one.

Never liked the prior gen M2 with its short bus proportions.

They got the dimensions right in this gen.

Has anyone been able to confirm if this will come in AWD, or if swapping the front diff to code the AWD is even possible?

I think this is the perfect addition next to my OG M2 (6 speed). Both will be 500+whp

Funny: The wheel gap on these prototypes (see G87 Comp vid) looks ok ... how does it come, that later on production cars, the gap gets so big? Some measure to sell performance part HAS kits?

Looks like G87 might have the 2-piece taillight design with a different trunk line around the taillights. Not sure if this has been mentioned before and it might be a stupid theory based on a car that is covered in camo but maybe there is still some hope

The single LED strip looks much better than the twin Halo sword like design that's on the X3. Hopefully it's not the latter.

Wonder why they decided to cover up the grills again.

I think this size is perfect for the M2C, but the new one is not so far. The G series is grow in size and when I saw the M4 in person it reminded me of the X5. It's huge!
