The HEA car will go to the first customer in line in many if not all US stores.

I officially gave up my spot on the waitlist yesterday. While I really like the M2, I think for the price difference I will get more use out of an M3 and not sacrifice much if anything with driving dynamics.
Looks are subjective with both the M2 and M3, but I honestly like both and would be happy with either.

My sales guy got my build code and will put it in as soon as he's gets a slot for production. I also got the bucket seats so probably wont see production start until march.

Went to my local dealer and put my order in this morning. I was told they're expecting allocations later this month, with an estimated delivery month of March. I was second on their list, and confirmed it will be sold at MSRP. I'm located in southern NH.

I submitted my build last week. They're waiting for a production number, I was #3.

I'm getting my order in Friday afternoon since I already sent over my spec sheet. dealer says my spot reserved is #3, expecting ~6months out. Requiring 5k deposit and paying MSRP. The intention for the build is GT with ability to track once or twice per year. Down the road I envision losing some weight off the front of the car, some subtle decals, and a lighter set of wheels.

As of today there are no allocations at any dealer in the US that I can see. I'm not sure why your client advisor said that.

Congratulations! Will be my first BRAND NEW car. The last few have all been demos with 1-2k mileage on since I haven't had the patience to wait.. the next 6 months will be a struggle.

Just cancelled my #1 spot. Couldn't decide which color worked on car, carbon buckets not being individually selectable and maybe the comp might be a bit more interesting and outside visual be a little tweaked hopefully making it less polarizing. Good luck with others on their M2 journey!

I was #2 at my dealer but I just canceled my order because I'm just not happy with the M2's:
- wheel selection (and it sounds like they're cast!)
- colour selection (was going to have to go with black)
- weight (oink oink)
- M colours on interior doors (tacky)
- M colours on bucket seats (give me a classy looking seat if I have to pay that much!)

Didn't lose my deposit. I'll have to wait for M2C or M2CS. I'm sure #3+ on the list at my dealer are a bit happier because of this.
