Here's another contender to pickup our vehicles, the Frontier Ace. This one did skip us on Oct 6th when it passed through last time.

The schedule is interesting, because the attached schedule shows a landing in Brunswick on Oct 31, but the Brunswick 15 day outlook doesn't include it yet.

That's only if BMW will use them. Other manufacturers are moving their vehicles with this carrier. The blank entries are Hondas.

Hello all,

My name is KJ and I am a status checker-holic. Its been 20 1 (Why is there no strikethrough?) minutes since I last checked my status (and its still 165). I was doing really well today and only checked 357 times, a new low for me but while at the gym I broke down and checked more. Now I'm about to sit in front of the TV for 3 hours watching baseball and probably check again another 5342 times.

They get off at Brunswock, GA!! PCD is a bit backed up. But my car finished at the port for the port install options this week and they offered me November 7th!

For me its just checking ShipAtlas lately to see if Glovis Cardinal pulled into port yet. Still a no. Going on almost 2 days now anchored off the coast. Guessing the port is too full lately. Maybe there will be movement this weekend. Suppose to be back in Brunswick by the Thursday morning.

On second thought, with it waiting so long it could have went and picked up some (ahem) BMWs (our M2s that may be there) down in Veracruz and still had time to roll back up to Altamira. Efficient...imagine that. Oh well, I'm just an average guy. What do I know about logistics?

The ship looks like it's both a cargo and Ro-Ro transport, so I have my doubts, but the schedule is interesting. However, it doesn't show up on the Brunswick 15-day, which seems like an elimination factor.

I'm worried about the Cardinal just anchored in Altamira. If it doesn't move soon, I don't see how it will have time to stop in Veracruz and then make it to Brunswick per the schedule.

You're actually timing it perfectly. For us week 39 builds, with end of Sept prodDates, we have already been waiting a month for a ship. You're going to be one of the lucky ones that doesn't have to wait long. As long as there's a few days between Ready for Transport and loading at the port, you should make the next ship.

One thing I noticed in the last round, is if you went Ready For Transport like the same day as Final Assembly, then they seemed to rush those ones out the door to make the boat that was arriving. Not sure if it's a sample size of 1, or if it's a thing to keep an eye on.

Thanks for the info! I went into Quality Check late last night, Final Assembly mid-morning today, then Ready for Transport late tonight. I’m thinking there may be a slight delay when it gets to the NY port due to Thanksgiving. But, maybe they push them thru so they are delivered before then.

2.5-3 weeks from loading the ship to dealer to NY, and then whatever days needed for dealer paperwork/registration, etc. I'd set expectations for a month, with best case 3 weeks.

As far as I know its not suppose to go to Veracruz. But I had a crazy far fetched theory last night that they loaded cars on Grande Abidjan in Veracruz, dropping some off in Altamira to load back on Glovis Cardinal to ship to Brunswick. Grande Abidjan was anchored for awhile off the coast and now its at the port loading and maybe unloading. I know its a stretch but hey maybe its possible.
