Of course, I've seen a few of the new series and it's not the same with Thomas and Higgins missing together with Tom's humorous twitching eyebrows

anyone watched ' the shining girls' on apple+?

interesting story -- serial killer with a sci-fi twist (i wont spoil, but you'll likely figure it out within a couple episodes). we are 6 episodes (of 8 released) in and really enjoying it. pacing is a bit slow, but character development is good and acting is great. i'm hopeful the season will end well...although many of these "with a sci-fi twist" type shows often elicit an eyeroll at their conclusion.

if you liked stephen king's "11/22/63" -- great novel / good but not great series on HULU -- then this might be up your alley.

I saw a commercial for the new Magnum where new Magnum was in the shower with new Higgins. WTF!!!!

I feel the same, he was good in the Bourne film but couldn't replace Matt Damon. The snowplow accident probably makes people more sympathetic towards him though.

I don't know, I think he was just as good but not better than Matt Damon and he'll recover thank goodness.

Renner's rendition of Bourne ruined him for me. Not sure you can best the work Damon did as Jason Bourne IMHO. It didn't feel contrived, it felt authentic, believable even. I guess that's what good acting does.

My SIL told me I had to watch Dark. She doesn't even like Sci-Fi type stuff, or most futuristic. I've added it to my watchlist, but got to finish Black Mirror first.

Excellent is an understatement. Magnificent television. Nothing else on tv right now compares. Give that show it’s own forum here.

I finally watched them too and while I am sure I will stick with it to watch the final season, I think it has run its course. Early seasons were very good though.

Agree, this needs to be the last season and it makes sense that it is. 5-6 seasons is a good time to wrap up a series in my opinion. It starts to swirl once you go beyond 5-6 seasons.
