Ya know, it's only a 22hr drive to Altamira, and 27hr drive to Veracruz from Atlanta (not sure where you are in GA).

There's 6 Vehicle Carriers expected in Veracruz, and there's 6 Vehicle Carriers in port at Veracruz.

There's 2 Vehicle Carriers expected in Altamira, and 7 Vehicle Carriers in the port at Altamira.

C'mon BMW, contract one of them

Atlanta is close enough . At this rate it would have been better to ship it to a CA port and then get a truck to drive cross country.

Looking at the spreadsheet for what its worth... I see the following dates for the last few months for ships that went to deliver to the east coast.
June - 6/29
July - 7/25
Aug - 8/5, Edit: 8/26 Altamira > Rhode Island then EU bound (Horizon Highway)
Sep - 9/4, 9/14, 9/24 (I guess they played catch up here)
Oct - Nada yet

Granted there could have been more that were not accounted from people not tracked.

There has got to be at least 1 shipment for the east coast this month. I can see why people have to wait so long for their car to get assigned to a ship. There simply is not enough ships to get all the cars that are waiting.

Hopefully everyone in Ready For Transport is accepted onto the next ship. For sure, after Sept, there's no backlog.

This is more useful when we are about to enter production, but this Chrome Browser plugin lets you pull in the status code, etc, without having to use the "F12"/inspect trick.

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/d...gcjajoeodfpfon

You can pin the pugin and hit as often as you feel like with one click.

WARNING: Use may cause addiction, anxiety, frustration and, in severe cases, destruction of property - namely your computer.

No movement of Glovis Cardinal still. I checked on RCC Shanghai and that ship seems to carry just Kias.

I've really been counting on this ship, but admittedly it's not looking good. It needs about 12 hours in port to pickup cars, and then head to Brunswick by the 26th. And it hasn't done that yet in either Altamira or Veracruz, and Verzcruz seems like the more important destination.

I've also been thinking, most of the ships stop at Philadelphia, and BMW does not unload anything there. If there are other cars to unload, then BMWs aren't taking up the entire ship. We must be approaching capacity really soon for all the cars in Ready for Transport. Not looking good.

I've been watching this thing on the map slowly move in to Altamira port.

So on an interesting note, if I'm reading this link correct, it's going in to Altamira port to pick up 2000 cars. Could they be ours? 🤞

I hope so, and I hope the Genius who told me twice that my car is in Veracruz is mistaken.

Anyway, seems like the Glovis will be in port for 28 hrs, so by Tuesday we should know if any of us made it.

I'll call genius again tomorrow afternoon and see if theres any update. I don't have a ton of faith in being shipped from Altamira at this moment since I was also told Veracruz but we'll see I guess.

Mine has been on the way to the port for 3 weeks too...I think even a donkey is too slow. They're just stopping for margs at every bar along the way. Going to have to flush the coolant and oil as soon as it gets here since it'll all be tequila.

There are a bunch of glovis ships on the 15 days Brunswick port schedule but I am unable to tell if they are on the Veracruz schedule. Hoping they make a run to Mexico and back up the east coast since that’s BMW primary carrier

so not at the bar drinking margs? I've been wanting to live vicariously through my car for weeks now...sitting at the port seems less fun

I am a week 41 build so I can expect to be weeks behind you.
Guess I’ll be watching for your status postings to estimate mine

Not at all. As long as you're in Ready for Transport a few days before loading onto a ship, you should make it onto the same vessel. The trouble is that it's been 30 days since a ship picked up cars in Veracruz.

Glovis Condor is going up the East Coast, so it won't be that one.
Glovis Cardinal is the ship that did the last East Coast run, and we've all been hoping it would pick our cars up.
Glovis Sunrise is coming down the east coast now, destination unknown.

RCC Shanghai is in Altamira now as well, then heading up the East Coast. But I think it usually transports other cars.

The Frontier ACE is still a contender, though also shipping other car manufacturers. It finally shows up on the 15 day Brunswick outlook.

I have been at 'ready for transport' for a week now. So I am glad to hear that you think I might make the next ship up the east coast

Thanks for the info

Here's another option, Global Leader. Supposed to be arriving in Veracruz this week, then up the East Coast.
