Couldn't figure out how to set up a Nintendo Switch for my 6-year old. After an hour of Googling and trial-by-error, I quit and blurted out in frustration "video games are stupid anyway, go outside and play."

Fun fact: I'm turning 40 this year AND I'm an avid XBox gamer.... sigh.

I was cooking dinner tonight and had opened a packet of Italian seasoning. When I went to use it a few minutes later, I had forgotten that I had opened it already. I grabbed it and started to shake it a bit to get the seasoning compacted. Of course the seasoning flew everywhere. D'oh!!

Old and older: I guess that most of us can relate to the part where is sung:
"Now I sit with different faces | in rented rooms and foreign places | All the people I was kissing | some are here and some are missing | in the nineteen-nineties | I never dreamt that I would get to be | the creature that I always meant to be | but I thought in spite of dreams | you'd be sitting somewhere here with me | 'cause we were never being boring".
I came across a cache of old photos | and invitations to teenage parties | 'Dress in white' one said with quotations | from someone's wife, a famous writer | in the nineteen-twenties | When you're young you find inspiration | in anyone who's ever gone | and opened up a closing door | She said we were never feeling bored
'cause we were never being boring | We had too much time to find for ourselves | and we were never being boring | We dressed up and fought then thought "make amends" | And we were never holding back or worried that | time would come to an end
When I went I left from the station | with a haversack and some trepidation | Someone said if you're not careful | you'll have nothing left and nothing to care for | in the nineteen-seventies | But I sat back and looking forward | my shoes were high and I had scored | I'd bolted through a closing door | and I would never find myself feeling bored
'cause we were never being boring | We had too much time to find for ourselves | and we were never being boring | We dressed up and fought then thought "make amends" | And we were never holding back or worried that | time would come to an end | We were always hoping that, looking back | you could always rely on a friend
Now I sit with different faces | in rented rooms and foreign places | All the people I was kissing | some are here and some are missing | in the nineteen-nineties | I never dreamt that I would get to be | the creature that I always meant to be | but I thought in spite of dreams | you'd be sitting somewhere here with me
'cause we were never being boring | We had too much time to find for ourselves | and we were never being boring | We dressed up and fought then thought "make amends" | and we were never holding back or worried that | time would come to an end | We were always hoping that, looking back | you could always rely on a friend
And we were never being boring | We were never being bored | 'cause we were never being boring | We were never being bored

It bothered me just a little when I hit 60 -- it just sounded old. But I didn't really feel old until a few years after that. Mostly the $#% prostate! (I know: TMI.)

I do not feel my age at all. I keep thinking any day it's going to catch up to me. But it hasn't so far. I know one day it will. I'm enjoying myself until then.

Had my routine colonoscopy today. Doctor removed a polyp and said he's 99.9% sure it's benign but a bypopsy will prove that within a few weeks. So all in all it was a good day.

Best sleep ever! I don’t know what they give you to knock you out during the procedure but I wish I could sleep like that every night. Glad it went well.

Thanks. Woke up a little nauseous but it quickly went away. A little light headed on the drive home. Had a small meal because I hadn't had real food since two days ago. Yesterday was only chicken broth and light colored jello with light colored gatorade to drink. Took a short nap and now back to normal.

Propofol. And that's why Michael Jackson liked it so much. A bit too much as it turned out.

Propofol rules. I had the best dream ever last visit to the procto. Was walking on Pedregal beach in Cabo. I could feel the sand, hear the waves, and feel the wind and sun. It was delightful. I'm due again in May, and I can't wait! Wait... Wut?
