I could be wrong but they have made no mention of the G87 having an interior change and they have been consistent on the G80/82 being different/even a notch above the G87 in certain areas.

We don’t know. Besides moving engines, the F87 never recieved a facelift other than the CS variant with new hood, carbon, etc.

In other words, they may not facelift the G87 platform before EOL in 2028+.

The F87 got an LCI where it received new interior trim, instrument binnacle, lights etc. The Comp and CS had the LCI updates as they were released after. The base M2 was in production for one year with the updates, 2018 if I recall correctly before the Comp in 19.

It is rumored to be an “iconic BMW M exterior color.” I wonder if its just a diff shade of blue like the CS was to the OG, since the “launch color” is a blue. I predict valencia orange. I saw a g87 wrapped in yellow and it actually kinda worked. Maybe neon colors are the way to go since it looks like a spaceship. Respectfully.

BMW used to provide some of the best OEM polished silver wheels of any marque in the automotive industry (see exhibit A below). Now it seems to think everybody salivates over grey, bicolor, or jet black wheels.

There are still a couple of old school guys like me around that appreciate the classic-colored wheels more than what is trendy.
