Glovis Sunrise: expected 10/27 - also mentioned above but no NY/NJ port so skeptical since that feeds the entire NE if I understand correctly (possible?)
Link Sun (RORO): expected 10/26 - was just in cartagena and not a vehicle carrier but wanted to make note of it. (doubtful)
Eurasian Highway: expected 10/27 - looks like its mostly a South American route ship based on recent ports. (doubtful)

The Toronto is also in the mix as well for others on the east coast. Unfortunately for us in the north east, NJ is not on the schedule.
Something has to give soon, i reached out to my CA on Monday and even pointed out the fact that the dealership is now down from 17 to 10 new 3 series in less than a week so they need a shipment soon. He laugh and respond that maybe they are trying to make room for the winter by stock up on X3 since its preferred for NE weather.

I'm still thinking Toronto is the boat some of us may get on. Stops departs Veracruz 10/30, Altamira 11/4, then on to Brunswick 11/9 and Baltimore 11/11. Unless this boat has already been ruled out for some reason?

Good grief. I guess it is at least something to hang on to, but with HAS Port install will put my delivery past Thanksgiving. So disappointing if there are no pickups for the entire month of October.

I hear you man….same here. We all just need some hope. We all just want something positive. I think most of us could live with the delay at the US port since that is a shorter wait compared to the wait down in Mexico

Dang, I also have the HAS. I'm gone for most of the EOY so it's looking like a 2024 delivery for me at this rate

Update from my end: called genius and according to them my car is still on the way to the port (again, according to them, waiting for more cars because they can't send a single car to the port, not like there haven't been thousands produced in the last 3 weeks while its been waiting)...so in the end, useless call.

TLDR: no update and they have no idea.

Keep in mind, last time Glovis Cardinal left MX on 9/24 and people did not get notified that their car shipped until 10/6. Basically updates came after unloading in Brunswick iirc.

Oh for sure, I'm just mostly talking about them saying "Your car is waiting for other cars to be done to be delivered to port" I mean its been 3 weeks, we've determined that there were like 5k cars built in mexico last month so for the sake of argument assume 4weeks in a mo, so 75% of 5000 is...3750, maybe they need more cars to deliver mine to the port lol

I'm not not necessarily mad that my car is still there, just disappointed with that and the generic responses they have at this stage.

One person at BMW Genius told me they find out within an hour of sailing, whether cars were loaded onto a ship or not. If that's true, then sadly we're not on the Glovis Cardinal, as it departed early this morning to Brunswick, and as of an hour ago, BMW Genius hasn't seen any status change.

tracker is at 165, but a call to genius line tells me im at the port with no carrier assigned yet. always a little bit of fun phrasing and re-phrasing the question with the genius to try and get a more exact answer, but it sounds like 4-6 weeks is the right timeframe for me

4-6 weeks at MX port? Some of us have been in 165/RFT for a month+. It seems it's a long wait unfortunately, and with the backlog to mid-late Sep prod dates who knows who is getting on what boat when. CA's and Genius definitely do not.

I don't think that is always true. Maybe it has happened before in the past but its definitely not the norm. I have yet to hear about a forum member having that experience.

if its longer, is what it is, but my CA and the genius seem independently aligned FWIW. I'm a patient guy so am OK with a wait but i am enjoying the triangulation efforts

Convo with both went a bit like:

Me: "If you had to guess, based on current cadence on deliveries from SLP, would you estimate a 2023 or 2024 delivery is more likely?"

Them: We do not expect your car to come in 2024

Me: "I am planning a road trip the week after thanksgiving, should i plan to be home instead to take delivery?"

Them: It's possible, but likely to be too soon.

Without talking to eachother, they both seemed to agree that it's before EOY with week of 11/27 at earliest. If they are giving me that date as the soonest, i find it unlikely it'll run into the back half of december, but i guess anything could be happen!
