Nice build, looking forward to seeing pics. will be ordering an M2 in Feb but just not sure yet about TPM. Gotta see how it looks. Sucks there is no real pics yet.

I broke down and called Genius this morning. Sitting in final assembly since 10/3 had gotten me a little worried.

According to Genius my car has completed production and has been handed over to sales awaiting a carrier assignment.

MyGarage still shows as final assembly (160).

For those of you sitting stagnant, might want to give them a call and just ask.

Any of you experts have any idea which ship leaves next headed for the east coast USA?

rons.....the F#$$ing Glovis Challenge has been floating around the east coast with my car since 9/24. It sat at Ready for Transport two weeks too. It is supposed to pull into Baltimore tomorrow. It has to be empty after Baltimore. It went to Jacksonville, Brunswick, Philadelphia and soon Baltimore. I hope there is another ship out there for your ride.

One thing I learned in this process, they car will get here when it gets here. There are people with west coast ships that were at RFT at the same time as me and they are driving around already.

I can almost smell the burning rubber (after the break-in).

Not my first rodeo ordering a new BMW, but definitely the first time I've been in final assembly this long. Seems like some of these stages are taking much different amounts of time compared to the last new 2 series I custom ordered.

I was wondering what USEWR was this morning. I noticed it took a left when it should have taken a right.

So frustrating. Hopefully Baltimore is the next stop. Was wondering if cars ever drop in Philly and get shuttled to Baltimore. This is my first BMW order. Its been so close a few times already.

Update from my dealer this morning is that my car was offloaded in Newark. Not sure if that’s accurate as Genius thinks it’s still in the boat. Figured I’d share for those waiting.

Maybe i’ll get lucky and get a call that it’s at the dealer in the next week or so..dunno.

Your status should updated to "At Port" if it's offloaded.

My status was “at the port” before “in transit.” It goes back?

Yes it goes back to at the port, which is now the receiving port, it then goes to the VPC for inspection, then eventually it's assigned to a carrier to transport ( goes to intransit again ) but this time it's in transit to your dealership !

I’m still not convinced he’s right. Status code still shows 195 not 196. I’m not sure how long that usually takes to update though. He estimated yesterday that I’d have it 10 days or so. Not holding my breath.
