Anyone else stuck in code 193 (WestCoast)? Car has been in Port Hueneme VPC since 10/5 with work order opened 10/07. Have the Carbon inlets as port accessories, but I've read somewhere on the forums about a stop order...

Hi everyone, just joined, my first post. After wanting one for more than 30 years, I finally ordered a new BMW. Mine was also sailing around dodging hurricanes the last 30 days, and just arrived with yours in Baltimore. Hopefully our cars arrive safe and sound in one piece. My BMW app is showing my car as step 14 "In transit". I assumed that means it has left the U.S. port and is on route to the dealership. Is that not right? My contact at the dealership said it's in transit to the port in NJ.

Does step 13 in the app "At the port" mean the port in Mexico??
I'm confused.

It hits those statuses twice. The first 'at port' means port of exit. first In Transit means on way to destination port. Then it will go back to 'at port' again and when it leaves destination port to travel to dealer it will once again hit the 'in transit' status.

Watching a few ships now as I'm in ready for transport along with many of you id imagine.

My car completed production 10/3, supposedly left the factory 10/18, and I've been sitting in 165 status since then. CA confirmed my M2 has left the factory en route to the port.

Which port, he wasn't sure.

I'm in NY, so sorry to all you west coast guys. I also can not find schedules for Glovis vessels so I can only see some past port calls to get an idea of where they might be headed. Please share if you know how to access Glovis schedules.

Glovis Sky: in Altamira right now loading at port. This ship makes stops at ports all along the east coast from Galveston to NY.

Morning Menad: anchored just outside of Altamira. This shit has a depart date of 10/29 and is headed straight for NY, arriving 10/4. (Wallenius Wilhelmsen)

Glovis Sun: in Veracruz right now loading at port. Similar to Glovis Sky, this vessel usually makes stops on the East Coast US, although does not often come to NY or PHI.

Global Leader: scheduled to arrive at Veracruz 11/2, departing 11/4, stopping in Jacksonville 11/8, NY 11/13, Baltimore 11/14. (NYK Line)

Not sure which, but really hoping that my car gets on one of these.

Glovis Sky has departed from Altamira headed for Tampa. Attached are recent port calls for that vessel.

I'm unsure if any BMWs are on that ship, but if anyone is in Ready for Transport, you might see some movement today/tomorrow. I've been 165 since 10/18, and am still showing Ready for Transport as of this post. My car is destined for NY.

Yes I found out the Port was the worst.... mine sat 2.5 weeks at Port for reasons unknown lol.... I had to keep on digging daily/ weekly to get answers.

Galveston VPC this morning, they have a decent pile of vehicles to go through. Mine was assigned to a carrier today so hopefully some Texas deliveries will be made soon.

I am also in Baltimore. Are you getting port installed options? What dealer? I am dealing with Catonsville BMW. I hope will get shipped to the dealership this week.

No port installed options. BMW of Bel Air. Dealer assured me that it would be about a week from port to me having keys in hand. But they also assured me that the strike would not impact delivery and that it would hit the port on the 9th. Guess their crystal ball is broken.

I'm impatient so called Genius :-). My car has been processed and is sitting on a carrier but the carrier hasn't left yet. She said that probably means its waiting for a few more cars to be released and put on that carrier. No ETA yet but should know soon.
