Interesting. I wouldn't actually describe the cover as "poppy" per se. It certainly doesn't have the strings in the background, lol. Original is definitely more dramatic sounding, almost an opera feel to it somehow.

Yeah, they were great. My daughter saw Ray Davies in concert at the Wiltern Theater in L.A. some years ago. She loved it!

You know that feeling you get when everything just comes together in that very moment, having drinks and being in a good mood, positive things in your life, good music, etc. It doesn't happen all of the time but when it does.....

That reminds me that I saw the former Dos XX beer commercial guy and his wife in the Delta lounge at LAX a few years ago. I saw them there with a buddy of mine and we're both like... "dude, isn't that the Dos XX guy.... I don't always drink beer but when I do, I drink Dos XX". It was funny.

Don't really splurge. Friday nights are my nights for having a few drinks. Nothing crazy. Always within reason. Still a little early for me.
