When I say a "world car", I mean safety and emissions. A reflector or compliant indicators isn't a real issue. Those are easily replaced.

the prod date should be fairly accurate. mine went status 150 on 09JAN with prod date of today, 23JAN. hit level "8" status 160 "finishing touches" today.

My car sounds like it's right behind yours somewhere; I went from 150 to 153 ('Assembly Started') some time this afternoon. Figure by this time tomorrow it'll be well into the 160s ... or, maybe, in the low 180s ...

Anyone with individual color active order with a week 7 or later production date progressed beyond "Order Received" status yet?

I will be making a post for my full experience once I take delivery of my car but I have a final timeline for my individual voodoo blue order.

Deposit: 6/19
Production Number Assigned: 7/25
Build completed: 10/28
Ready for delivery: 12/19
On the boat: 12/26
Delivered to destination port: 1/16
Arrival at dealership: 1/22

Total wait 7 months.

Small note. My car was delayed at factory for over 2 months. I think it's due to my car failing qc and had to be resolved before it got shipped. The dealer thinks it's because I ordered the MP CF lip spoiler and the one that arrived was bad and they held the car to get another. I am not sure what happened but if this did not happen my total time should have been around 5 months for an individual voodoo blue car.

If anyone has questions feel free to ask.

Just got a call from a dealer wanting my business that an allocation came up. I took it, no deposit, MSRP. Individual voodoo blue 6 speed, can't wait.

Just sold my f80, looking to go back to manual, somewhat of a full circle since I sold my e46 LSB to get into an f80 DCT. Surprisingly while it was fun, I enjoyed my LSB e46 more..can't say i miss it, but looking forward to 6 speed coupe life again.

I called genius months back to my week and I think it is 9 as well. Have not called back as I both want to be nicely surprised to see my status change to production scheduled and also don't want to get depressed for an extended period of time if they tell me week 20 something.

If you're week 9 then we should be getting our VINs during week 7. It seems like everyone is getting VINs about 2 weeks before the production date.

Is your car also Voodoo blue?
