LOL, funny and totally true. I'm a 35 year fan, was at games 3&4 when they got swept by Scotty Bowman's Red Wings. Beating Tampa Bay is going to be a tall order, they're just so stacked and firing on all cylinders. I say TB in 6.

Tons of bandwagon fans, applies to all sports up there. I remember being in 9th grade (1990 or so) and adults in my neighborhood didn't even know the DC area had a pro hockey team.

I don't know about that criteria--I can't name 2 guys on at least 10 teams but consider myself a big hockey fan--but..and the but...I pay much less attention to the East. In my circle people ask me hockey questions.....but I'm not a hockey god...or just general "most interesting guy on the forum" like ShopVac .

It happens with every winning team. In the DC area, there are so many transplants, you see tons of jerseys of winners just bc the local teams haven't won. Ie: Tons of Penguins, Patriots, Warriors, Cavs jerseys, etc.

When a local team actually shows some life, people come out of the woodwork.

For the record, I don't think Caps advance past the Bolts. Caps celebrated like they won the cup after beating Pitts. Huge monkey off their back, but still only 8 of 16 wins.

Bolts seem built really well. Plus Kucherov was the one that broke Holtby with that no-shot move.

My tank has been pretty good until recently the Zenia coral just shrunk up. Water parameters are great, but I've read this can mysteriously happen....could be a Toby puffer I have has been picking on them. Oh well.

Xenia is like a weed...unfortunately, if it's going/shrinking, it's typically a sign of some other big issues that are coming.

Know this from experience...twice

Yeah, The Xenia was growing like crazy a few weeks ago and then pulled back...I had been using Algaefix so that might have had an effect.....now back to hockey....

Today is game 7 Preds and Jets, so I guess your prediction was right about that being the best series as it is the only 7 gamer...your always right about hockey.
