Hey Todd - seems you are US based - you can track your car in the my BMW app or online - us Europeans havent be afforded that luxury lol

I gues maybe when I get the vin I can add it to my garage along with my wife’s X3. Then track it that way?

Ask your dealer for your production number. Then go to MyBMWUSA webpage and click on My Garage. With your production number you can track the progress. Once it enters production you will be given a VIN. From that point on you can track progress in the App and on the website.

There's quite a bit of faffing about for that vessel once in the GoM.

Galveston Port in Texas, arrives 11th, departs 12th

Sail south to Veracruz, arrives 14th to pick up our cars, departs 16th.

Sail north to Altimera, arrives 17th, departs 18th.

Depart GoM, 1 week sail north past NY to Davisville, arrives 25th and departs again same day (fuel stop for the journey east?)

9 day sail across the Atlantic to Southampton.

According to the ship tracking, its still on schedule for arriving in Galveston on the 11th, 1600hrs local time

Sweet. The Tanabata arrived yesterday in Newark port, so it makes sense the car is in transit to the dealer today. You’ll have your car real soon now.

MyBMW app for iPhone and Android. Much, much more than just an app for tracking though.

BMW Genius just told me my vehicle is scheduled for production, but doesn’t yet have a production week. It seems like she’s talking out of both sides of her mouth. Anyone else experience this and what can I expect?

At status 111, I don’t have a VIN yet.

According to the schedule posted up thread, the Hamburg Highway, which left Altamira on February 3rd, is arriving in South Hampton on February 18. My wager is you are on that ship. I was stuck in final assembly for 3 weeks, but on feb 3rd out of nowhere my SA called me for the first time and mentioned how my car had finished being produced a while ago. He was being vague but insinuated that my car was on a ship headed to the Port of Halifax.

Today my status flipped to 165 from 160 previously. Your car was finished production before mine, so I think we are both on the Hamburg Highway. Or even better on the Sirius Highway due in South Hampton February 10th.
