I had to add mine back. SA said it pushes back the build date from 2/21 to 4/xx. Not sure if he meant the delivery will be April now, or the production.

But I've been debating on removing it to get the car sooner. Placed order on 1/14 and got the allocation the next day. It got scheduled, then pushed back.

I have ACC on my Jeep Grand Cherokee, which honestly aside from showing off the cool features to friends and family that ride with me, I've never really used ACC. Something about not being in control of the vehicle.

BMWs should be drivers cars. Want a car that drives you, Teslas the move.

I've intentionally not got the option on any of my cars so far, including my upcoming car. Seems like it could be cool, but my commute, fortunately, doesn't usually involve heavy traffic so don't really see the need.

EM3RLD ACC is nice to have but don't let that be your deciding factor if you really feel like going for it ;-)

ACC, HD sound, touch screen, satellite radio, lumbar support for non leather seats... I don't NEED a new M240, I wanted one. Still do. But for now I'm sticking with my Golf R.
I知 glad to find this discussion! - I was very disappointed to cancel my order for this exact reason. I also have a Golf R (great car!) and while ACC is not the most important feature,, I was just using it the other day coming home from the mountains in traffic and it made the drive more tolerable.
I was also informed that, among other things, the wireless phone charging was not present anymore either. Not as important as ACC but certainly makes wireless CarPlay less valuable.

I love the car and will order one once these features reappear. The dealer is supposed to contact me if they get more info - I知 not holding my breath. I値l be watching eagerly for any news!

bear in mind.. if you end of waiting for 2023 model, you have idrive 8 with it large curved display, and lack of physical buttons and controls that presently exist... this could be a good or bad thing.. but you should look at idrive 8 before letting ACC be the deciding factor

I appreciate that response. Indeed, it does make it more frustrating as the current interface is near perfect for this car.

Thank you so much for this advice and for everyone else sharing their frustration on this matter.

I became really indecisive when I found out that ACC (adaptive cruise control) is no longer included. So I started looking at 330i. Then I found out that some people lost wireless charging, which then made me decide to just wait. I truly just got really really confused with what's I wanted

But in the end of it all, the main question for me is whether or not I want the new 2-series. Those two are big important features (especially acc for me) but after driving my wife's X3 for a few months, I realized that driving a BMW is NOTHING like driving a Honda. The sturdiness, the steering wheel, the suspension, the shifting and all around drive makes me forget that I could press a button and have it drive for me.

So instead of canceling on the M240i I've decided to looked at its original variant. The 230i. It's more affordable, it looks the same as the M if you choose M sports with Shadowline and most importantly it drives JUST AS GOOD.

I test drove one yesterday and it blew my mind. It is sooo smooth. And the car surrounds you like a tank. But a small agile tank that almost becomes part of you. It is so awesome. And with $8k less, I don't mind it so much even without acc and wireless charging 😊😊✌️

I used ACC on my gf's car yesterday at highway speeds and after a few miles I got tired of it and turned it off. So far I've only really enjoyed it in extremely heavy stop & go traffic. I still paid $750 for the package, but not really sure why?
