Best guess, early to mid June PCD. In reality, until it is built we would need a crystal ball.

I was told the same, and specifically week commencing 3-13, so I guess we’ll be litmus-tests for how long it takes to get through production and shipping!

So when do allocations drop? Seems like people are randomly getting theirs. I assumed BMW would drop batches of them once or twice a month on specific dates. Anyone have some insight on this?

April - May is still very possible. Had a family member who had a 2022 M240 built in December and took delivery in February of last year, and that included 3 weeks of waiting for a microchip.

Assuming BMW has a decent stockpile of microchips nowadays (maybe?), the time between production in Mexico and arrival in the US is a lot faster than one might expect.

Granted, this is all anecdotal but it is the same factory so...

The problem these days is being loaded on the ship the Mexican port and then carrier shipping (semi) from the VPC to the Center. There is also a backlog at certain VPCs.
