Ugh, terrible. I know how excited you were to take delivery recently. Nice of you to save the deer and not spare the car. Glad you’re ok.

Glad you are safe.
Don’t worry the M2 will be new after the repairs with brand new parts. |

Sorry, man. Glad you're okay, but that's got to be heartbreaking.
It's like getting to date Ana de Armas for a month before getting dumped in dramatic fashion. At least you have the memories? |

Just seeing this now. Most importantly is you walked away with nothing more than sorrow for your car.
Only way I see the car being totaled is if they find major frame damage or the oil cooler leaked while the engine was running which would eventually cause it to seize. Otherwise, it looks like they'll be able to repair it. Either way I'm sure you'll let us know what's to come. Enjoyed living vicariously through your G87 and as much as you loved it I know you'll be back in a G87 again one way or another. |

First off... Very glad to hear you are OK, that's the most important...
I always recommend against avoiding animals... its better to take the deer out 99% of the time just for safety alone... also deer are very dumb animals, they will always do the opposite of what makes sense... i have experience w 2 situations similar to this but instead I ran into the deer and the damage was actually minimized believe it or not. either way, looks like your car will be good after some fixing and back on the road soon

We all need to become hunters now. It’s the proactive thing a careful BMW owner does to protect their Ultimate Driving Machine.
I hope your recovery process is quicker than expected! |

⚠️⚠️BEWARE OF RW Carbon! Had a lovely email exchange with the owner Matt W. about a delaminating CF trunk lid spoiler for my F80 that lasted all but 4 months. He wouldn’t warranty it unless THEY performed the install. Thousands spent with RW Carbon over 8 BMW’s—and they lost me over an $800 spoiler. I’ve warned dozens of BMW enthusiasts RW Carbon and mainly Matt W. who has no semblance of customer retention.

This is obviously not my side of the house, but, nonetheless, I have seen you throughout your long journey of getting this car. I’m so sorry this happened to you — especially after all that.
Glad you are okay though!

Very happy you’re ok.
Also glad nobody suggested legal action against the deer or it’s family. |

1st - glad you’re ok
2nd - please keep us posted with what happens next. I agree you’re car has a good chance of being repairable- impacts powerful enough to cause frame damage usually come along with much worse looking collisions. 3rd - if this happened to be an F87 you were driving it absolutely would’ve been destroyed. Another notch in the Win column for the G87. |

Glad you’re ok. The car can always be replaced. Replacing you may be a challenge.
