Eeeeesh very true , I was at Thermal in early Sept doing the free M Driver's Course

triple digits ... all of us were frying

But instructors are very good dudes , had a blast

I preferred the M2 vs the M4 in the corners . Just the smaller size, felt more comfortable tossing it on the small track

Did the 1 day BMW performance school yesterday. I did not expect it but scored 1st for fastest lap around the course earning a gold medal. Maybe all the Gran Turismo days helped, lol. Now heading back for M track today. Weather was good. Should be fun and meet other M fans.

I forgot yesterdays but for todays 1 day M school I also took first and my best was 44.7 and averaging around 45.5 out of like 9 laps.
The guy who made second did 44.9. Yesterdays layout was a tad shorter and ran counter clockwise. Today was clockwise. I remember 8 years ago they gave away a set of tires and helmet but no longer true, just medals.

I've done the 1-Day and 2-Day and won the rat race and autocross last time I was there. Sadly, I "won" the trophy and took a pic with it, but didn't get to take it home.



Highly recommended, it got me into tracking my G82, and I plan to track my G87 as well!

They used to give out a little plastic cone, and a stuffed rat. I got some pens and took a photo with the trophy! That's it! I didn't even get a cool medal like you did!

Yah, The Trophy is for photo op purposes only lol. They still gave cones to everyone but the rat race winner only got an outstanding recognition from everyone. The driving lessons they give and really know how capable your BMW is what is all about.
