My week 41 build was in RFT for almost 2 weeks and now says in transit.

Does this mean we are getting new movement? Or just cars are actually being checked in at the port and none are on a boat yet?

It looks like DCC is in Texas so he must be on a different ship than us. Most of us are on the east coast.

What about M2GTI in GA. Is that a Galveston ship, or an East Coast ship that stops in Brunswick?

From what I understand, while on the move, the tracker will alternate back and forth between At the Port and In Transit, so there's no distinction in the tracker between port of departure and port of entry, etc. Once you're loaded onto a ship, you'll have to track the ship to know what port you're at, or which one you're going to.

This is my understanding as well, it should go from “At The Port” (departure) to “In Transit” and then back to “At The Port” (arrival).

Either way, I am just glad there is movement

If you call the BMW Genius line, they should be able to tell you. I've also heard it's on your build sheet but not sure if you have that.

Sorry, I meant for DCC and M2GTI since they have updated Trackers.

BMW Genius will also be able to say which ship you're on. Which seems very likely at this point that you're on one.

Is there reason to suspect this is good news for others as well, or would we see everyone update in the tracker at the same time?

I checked and nothing showed up on the VIN search.

But I looked and noticed the Glovis Cardinal is in Altamira now and is due in arrive in Brunswick on 10/29/23

Maybe I could be that lucky…

I think it would be good news for all.

Looking back through this thread, cars were loaded onto the Glovis Cardinal on Sept 24. One person had their MyGarage tracker updated on 9/28. Meanwhile, several others called BMWGenius as late as 10/4 or 10/5 and neither BMWGenius nor the tracker app said anything other than Ready For Transport. But then, all those folks ended up being on the Glovis Cardinal and found out around 10/5 or 10/6.

Interestingly 9/28 was also a Thursday, like today. The Glovis Cardinal is supposed to land in Brunswick late Saturday night. Maybe the rest of us could find out we were on that ship after that, if the same pattern repeats?

The Card left Alta yesterday, first stop tracking updating maybe? Hopefully this is good news for everyone.
