Two days ago, my dealer told me my car was at the port in Germany (lol). Today, I'm told the car just arrived at the dealership. I said I need a few days to move money around because I'm paying cash and had no notice. You can't tell me at 4pm on a Friday that I need to come up with $67k cash on Saturday. He's acting like the dealership will go out of business if I don't come get the car tomorrow.

Anyway, good news is I finally get my car tomorrow. Good luck to everyone still waiting. The tracker is unpredictable and the dealerships don't even know what country the car is coming from.

Why would the M2 be in germany? they are built in mexico.. unless you are in germany? but they can wait a day or so for you to do waht you need to do thats crappy

Heads up - check those rear calipers. I was missing my branded clips, which the dealer is now ordering for me.

My car arrived today. Drove it home and noticed a few scratches on the driver's door and rocker panels. Not too happy about it, but I polished out 95% of the rocker scratches. Tackling the others tomorrow when there's more daylight. I'll probably do a one stage paint correction on it.

To avoid being in my situation, my advice is to not have the dealer detail the car. I knew I shouldn't have, but let them do it against my better judgement. They didn't even dry the windows all the way.

Coming up on the end of day 11 (but only 6 business days) of “at the port” status. Hoping it’s just holidays delaying my delivery, and not a part shortage for the MP HAS. The car is till 2 months ahead of when they told me I’d get it, bur the anticipation is now consuming me!

Glad to see some more movement on cars. The ones getting things installed is there anyway to find out if your CA can get an update on the work order?

I’ve been trying to get update, but he doesn’t seem to have any more info than he had when he told me my “work order” had started on 12/21.

If it makes you feel any better. I'm still in the same boat. Last week I talked to customer service. My car is at the port with a work order that began 12/22. I also optioned the MHAS.

Once I see movement I'll reply back to this thread. Just wanted to let you know you're not alone!

I've heard back from my CA, MP HAS work order started on 12/26. Nothing else they can see. Still "at port" on the app. Will advise when something changes...

I went to put on my side skirt on the passenger side today and started feeling around underneath and my hand was immediately covered in oil. I started going from near the rear wheel all the way to the front wheel and oil everywhere! Put it up on ramps and from in front of the passenger front wheel all the way to the rear wheel and especially near the front passenger jack pad oil is dripping. Called service at my dealer and bringing it in first thing in the morning and they are going to throw it up on the lift and see what is going on.

My guess is they didn't tighten the oil drain plug all the way when they filled it with oil. I am hoping that is all it is fingers crossed.
