ELSA is coming

yesterday after 7pm severe thunderstorm until 11pm, lights flicker few times

today was hot n humid 90s, getting cloudy. Another chance of thunderstorms.

I've got weather alert alarms going off for all three areas where I have interests!

Tropical Storm Warning (Elsa) for my family's location down south.

Tornado Watch for the new SC lot (Elsa).

Severe Thunderstorm and Flash Flood Watches for home in NY State.

I really need to get a remote weather station down in SC on my next trip.....

Oh no, I'm right on the Gulf. Work at the red O and live by the red X....but it was nothing of a storm. A bunch of rain, but shockingly no flooding and no massive storm surge. Got lucky again.....

Seriously though.. they have the Doppler 9000001 and STILL can't predict the weather much better than they could 15 years ago. Dont get me wrong, I know its subject to change because its evolving, but hell, get it close 90% of the time at least..! Either that, or dont hype up how great your weather radar is.

... and while I'm on my rant, lol, dont tell the people, "there's a chance of" or "you may see partly sunny sky's with some rain, mild to severe winds, and the potential of snow is some areas and peaks of sun. Hell, no $&#^, I could predict that..!! hell, I'd respect them more if they were to say, "we have no idea, we'll let you know after it happens"
