Expired? If that was the case then I feel really bad for you. Geeze! Talk about a misspent youth.

Not me! In my younger days, I was sporting a stylish nylon mesh wallet with velcro closure...that didn't leave imprints of my expired condemn or my emergency pay phone dime.

After decades of tri-fold leather wallets, I have gone "superleggera" ever since I was sent home to die in 2016 with the 24/7 IV infusion pump. My wallet per-se is an around-the-neck passport carrier that only leaves our home safe for road trips, and the bulk of my purchases are done using ApplePay on my Apple Watch. I have not had back pain since I stopped sitting on a wallet. My doctors condemned me because my heart isn't healthy enough for those activities, ![]()

We didn’t have any car seats. I don’t think we had seat belts. When my parents took us home from the hospital when we were born, they put you in a cardboard box with your name, date of birth, weight and length. My grandmother kept those damn boxes under her bed and used them for storage.

Edit- when I first started school (public school) girls weren’t allowed to wear pants. We had to wear dresses or skirts. I think that ended in 3rd grade. So maybe 1972ish?

Lower back's been aching... again. Got x-rays last week; mild arthritis is what it shows. Surprising how bad mild arthritis can hurt in your back. Had the same thing last year and x-rays showed the same thing.
Taking Tylenol twice a day (does nothing) and rubbing lidocaine on it several times a day. No injuries and just regular chores around the house. It did go away last year, now it's back. Guess that's what happens when you get old. Don't like it affecting my exercises and walks. Makes it difficult to do them. Took a little break for a week to help it heal but now I’m going to get back to it. Just have to be careful. Lots of warming up and stretching, which I always do anyway. |

Wifey and I have started working out with a trainer dude twice a week. He's been mostly easy on us, but still...I've been aching the day after the workouts. Mostly stiff joints. Makes it hard to stand up and walk after sitting for a bit. The cardio doc said I could take Meloxicam if I really needed it, but I'm still resisting. Not sure it would do much anyway, like your Tylenol. Like you say, just need to be careful.

You know your old when your wife of 48 years passes away. Thinking companionship might be nice but where to start. A long time without trying to date someone.

When my wife of 16 years passed away, I also felt lost. I live in a rural area with no family close, etc. But in the internet age, there are online dating sites and I eventually did that -- and it worked out well. As with everything on the web, some care is required, but I found success that way.

The 81mg aspirin regimen is not for pain, it's because aspirin is an anti-platelet, platelets are part of the bodies process of forming blood clots, so an anti-platelet like low dose aspirin is given to slow down clotting time to help protect against vascular blood clots that can cause stroke, heart attack, pulmonary embolism, etc.. All drugs have 'side effects.' Tylenol can be liver toxic, NSAID's can also be toxic to the kidneys, so it's important to follow dosing information on the bottle and get regular check ups with blood labs to see if one is one of the lucky ones who have other, less universal side effects. |

And that’s why I was specifically asking Esteban about how those two medications were for him. I can assure you when I take three aspirin they are not 81mg and I’m not taking them for their anti-platelet properties.
