Last fall, my DW and I stopped at QuickChek for lunch after a court testimony. I had a Philly Cheesesteak Sub, and it was awesome!

I was driving past another QuickChek location this morning on my way home from a doctor's appointment, and decided to stop and get another one for lunch. Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot?!?!? It wasn't on the menu any more!!!

Their current seasonal sandwich offering is pastrami, so I settled for a reuben on a Portuguese roll. Meh, bordering on disappointing. I definitely would not go back for another one in the future.

For those not familiar, QuickChek is a regional convenience store franchise, with a made-to-order food counter. Similar businesses in other parts of the country are Royal Farms, Wawa, Sheetz, Kum&Go, etc.....

Forgot to eat lunch today since I was in random meetings all day. Finally got some breathing room and made myself some pizza on a spinach wrap. This ended up making me even hungrier....

Speaking of crackers, have you seen the TV commercial about the new Goldfish Mega Bites with Fred Savage from The Wonder Years and his brother (from some show, I don't know what)? I think it's funny.

No they don`t. Those are just made for the pictures to reel us in

Yeah, I always liked the Whopper. Last time I was there (a while ago) I got a Double Whopper Jr. Was pretty good but it didn't taste charbroiled (flame-grilled) like the Whopper did. Not sure if it was cooked differently or just didn't taste like I remembered.

The whopper jr doesn't taste quite like the whopper.
