Port installs? I read somewhere that delays at the port beyond port installs ups are due to damage during transit. Have you reached out to your CA?..Going to be snowing here soon in Vermont

Glovis Sunrise needs to stop at Altamira first on Nov 2. And the original Sunrise schedule also had it stopping in Freeport before Brunswick. I'm really curious on what the schedule is now. For NYCPOA I'm thinking last week of November +- 1 week. Really wishing the Cardinal had picked us up instead. But at this point, anything to get off the beach. It's starting to feel like that TV show Lost.

I’m still in RFT (10/20 build date), but the MyBMW app took the VIN. I’m guessing that happened because I left the factory on the way to the port, but the My Garage site hasn’t updated yet.

Is this a thing that has been verified? I am not wanting to burst your positivity, but mybmw app has taken my VIN since I got a VIN. I was able to add it to the app since then. I've got a prod date of 10/10 and was in RFT since the 12th I think.

A calculated guess at the GLOVIS Sunrise schedule:
Nov 2: Altamira
Nov 10: Brunswick
Nov 13: Baltimore
Nov 17: New York

Frontier Ace jumped ahead of the glovis loading in Veracrue despite being there at least 2 days prior….curious if any of us will get on that ship.
If you have been in RFT for at least 2 weeks, this week could be your week.

From what I’ve seen on importinfo.com, in the past, Frontier Ace has transported Hondas and Mazdas so not sure if it takes BMWs.

Just like the shipping times, it seems that the timeframe of when you can add it to the app has varied. Most people seem to be able to add when the car is released from the factory. I was able to add it to the BMW Guide app when it went into final production, but the My BMW didn’t allow it until yesterday (I’ve tried daily since 10/20). I’m probably being optimistic, but expecting delivery to NY in early December.

For those who got on the Glovis Cardinal over the weekend from Altamira to Brunswick, your car has arrived at Brunswick and should be scanned into the system.
My tracker update this morning from “In Transit” back to “At Port” so it definitely is reflecting that journey.

I was able to add once my car was officially given the prod date, at that point the VIN is assigned to the car. 10/20 prod date is cutting it close for these boats, I was 9/20 / 9/29 RFT and like many others still in the long wait without any firm information on when we will get a boat (or if we are on a boat).

At this point, it seems they may be evenly distributing between the two ports. Cardinal may swing back through or another Glovis ship will pick up in Veracruz next month. Other ships have yet to show they are delivering BMWs to the east coast. However, we can count on Glovis ships doing so.

MyBMW takes the VIN a day or two after it is built. And then a few days after released to distribution/165 you can download the manual on the app with your vin.
