Isn’t it also FREE? BMW Canada wants 5k for individual colors…makes the yellow look even better.

MY24 base price + d&h: $63,200 + $995 = 64,195

MY25 base price + d&h: $64,900 + $1,175 = $66,075

An increase of $1,880

Pricing guide has not been made available yet.

Place was quiet for awhile so I tried to keep myself busy. That Twilight Purple has my name all over it.

Just waiting on pricing. I am hoping the colors aren't like $4k.

So what, exactly, do us MY25 buyers get for the added $1,880?

Basically more power, and better throttle response. But I think that’s it. All the other options will still be their same prices, or more. Shadowline, headlights, carbon roof, heated wheel, etc are all still going to be options. Frozen paint will still be the same price as an option. It’s not like something that was an option is now std. The old options will still be options. Pretty mean gouge if you ask me. Doesn’t sway me one bit, but it’s looking like a gouge vs. the std annual $900 increase. I believe the G80s saw $0 price increase to MY25.

I don't see it that way. Typically for every new model year the price goes up on average $1k so it would have gone up regardless. But what about the other $880, what are you getting for that? Quiet a bit actually.
  • Engine power increase
  • Accelerator remapping to make the car more responsive
  • Flat bottom steering wheel with red center mark
  • Revised dashboard
  • iDrive 8.5
  • More color options with SPY as a newly offered no charge color and silver wheels as a no charge option

Is it known now if the xDrive version will be coming for MY26 or calendar year 2026? I’m trying to decide if I want to order a MY25 or wait.

2 years is a long time to wait if it’s calendar year 2026 considering my current car is almost 14 years old now, but just 1 more year if it was MY26 would be very tempting.

Nobody knows anything about MY26, other than the fact we’ll get an M2CS, which will be auto-only.

I was expecting more than the $1000 increase but also I wasn't expecting some of these changes like the new steering wheel, revised dash, and remapped accelerator..

I'll have see how things go. I'm very happy with my '24 but might tempted again when they do a last model year manual version in the late 2020s.

EDIT: '24s really get screwed huh? At least the '23s had 3 zone climate controls

There is always going to be a 'next best thing' coming out soon. Just jump on a '25 it's a good iteration vs a '24!

You're also sort of rolling the dice that they even do an LCI or more updates in '26

if you want a manual G87 i think now is a good time with this LCI. an M2 manual isnt going to get a further powerbump - look at M3/M4 manual, the M2 is now identical, and from all reports BMW wont up the torque due to the manual transmission not being able to cope, so i think we're maxxed out in terms of power/performance. We also know any future xdrive wont be manual, so then that rules out that being a factor for manual buyers.

Next is the interior, the M2 just got the M3 and M4 LCI interior refresh. I dont think that is going to change anytime soon, and M2/M3/M4 cant go to idrive 9 as there is no M version of that. So from the inside, highly unlikely anything changes.

Now exterior. This is the only place in my opinion where something will differ with an LCI2. Again taking from M3/M4, we are going to get new headlights, and maybe new tail lights, if they do an LCI2. Perhaps even more colours or full individual.

TLDR - any competition will be auto only. any new LCI2 will be exterior/cosmetic only. The new M2 manual will be as powerfull as they will get for a manual.
Not a lot of upside vs the wait if you ask me (as a manual buyer)

Sums it up nicely. I will be getting the MY25 and some of the small updates over MY24 (badge, 8.5, flat bottom steering) are quite nice. very much happy to pay the small increase in RRP over MY24 for them.

Not screwd by the ‘25 when you wanted Cognac 🙃

UK Configurator is online. It only shows the standard colors, not individual.

And no silver wheels either. However the UK site has been known to be fine tuned with the correct details some time after announcements have been made.

Noticed that too. At least the configurator is up in the UK. The NA site always takes days/weeks.

Whoa - so is Shadowline and Adaptive LED headlights going to be standard now for USDM? Were those already std in the UK? THAT would be huge if they're included now in the US - that basically made up half the $1,800 price increase right there. Oh I pray wireless charging isn't included as std. That feauture SUCKs if it cannot be disabled.

Configurator in Luxembourg is up to date since this morning (with silver wheels)

https://www.bmw.lu/fr/index.html

Price increase with same configuration than mine (excepted cognac of course…) is +3k€!

Not a fan of the silver wheels; IMO, solid black is the most attractive with the majority of exterior colors.

I was mainly interested in xDrive, due to living in a state that can get a good amount of snow in the winter. I’m less concerned about any possible cosmetic tweaks they might make, but some better looking taillights would of course be nice.

I guess I’ve managed just fine with my RWD E90 3 series for over a decade now using all season tires, so maybe if I get a set of dedicated winter tires for the M2 it would be as good, if not better.
