Correct, I guess I never knew the proper name. I used a Nyloc as that's what the other manufacturers are using

Not to be a wise-a$$ but US$40 is currently about 32 British pounds / 37 euro.

The part numbers should be the same no?

Just because they are one price in the US doesn’t mean they are equivalent in the UK.
I bet you’ll find they are different!

Where did you purchase this and how was the install? Thanks.

Did you do the front bar swap with the threaded hole or just use nuts on the front M10 bolts?

Just some Nyloc nuts on genuine m10 bolts, there’s just enough room to get a ring spanner in to tighten them up

I haven’t drove the car yet with it on. Just started up the car and revved it a couple of times. Didn’t really notice much of a difference in sound. Probably notice it more under a load. Wondering if it would sound better without the cover on it?

Picked my car after getting PPF, tint and ceramic coating done. Got the paint matched reflector deletes in, the gloss black emblem on the trunk on and installed the door LED projector.

Question: strut tower braces.
Would the dealer need to remove them to service the car?

Like regular service? Just to access the air filter on the intake which I don't even know if they do that.

I tapped the rear bolt hole specifically so that it would be easier to remove. This way it's like OEM. The aftermarket braces however have you drop a bolt through that back hole and have a nyloc nut underneath the wheel well which I thought would be more difficult and confusing because the car needs to be jacked up to access it.

Also had my wheel curb rash fixed

How did you go about doing it? Cost?
It looks like you didn't have to dismount the tire.

Yes, I'm very happy with the outcome.

I used a company called dent doctor, they come to your house and do it on the spot, no tire dismount. Took him around 1.5 hours start to finish. $200
