Ah, the roller coaster. We didn't. We saw a few roller coasters on the mountain sides in Germany and it is definitely something we'll be doing when we're back in August.

Marder...
^^That's probably no kitty cat but a marder! They tend to eat cables/wires and coolant hoses on cars. They are mostly out in the countryside of Germany. Better check under your hood for any damage.

Disaster.
After being towed from the Grossglockner to the BMW Dealer in Lienz, we've been told the car is ok and just needs a code update! However, the tow company bent one of the rear trailing arms and BMW can't fix until Friday! I'm in Italy and GF is ~90 miles away in Lienz, Austria. Not sure on plan, but looks like the 1 series going to be towed all the way back to the UK and BMW Assist will provide taxi to our hotel in Italy. Last edited by mjn77; 06-29-2016 at 05:35 PM.. |

With the 1series out of commission, i carried on albeit with a modified route due to spending nearly 3 hours at the Grossglockner sorting things out.

And i've driven to the Austrian border and back to collect the GF. She won't get her car back until Friday evening or Saturday morning.
