#1 is that job you can work without being drained or worn out. You can see yourself there for years and it wont be a big deal. You live a decent every day life...
#2 is good for the money but sounds draining and when the thought pops into your head about working there for years, you just simply dont want to even think about it lol With that said, i would pick either depending on your financial goals and how much they mean to you. 60+k more is a very considerable amount. |

Why are you yelling in all caps?? Is this the new leg humping method or your hearing going out with the rest of "the crew"?

For everyone asking other questions...I'm not dodging shit. I'm asking for which job you'd pick based only on the information I gave you.
I'm not telling you my net worth either, but it doesn't mean you can't have an opinion. I'm trying to get some advice without bringing in other shit to muddy it up. |

If you break it down into hourly wages, job #1 makes more money at $108/hr, not including lunch, while job #2 makes $79/hr. These do not include bonus' as I do not look at a bonus as a guarantied pay.
After bonus it's $121/hr vs $91/hr. My opinion is option #2 still, as 9.5 hours a day really is not that much work to me, considering the end result is $50k+ more a year.

That 9.5 hours a day and that 50K doesn't sound as amazing when you factor in on call 24-7 and travel time... People don't factor in travel time of sitting in airports, flights, and the inevitable flight delays / cancellations...

Wisely = posting extravagant purchases on social media to make your life look like something it truly is not. That $50k is a $1,000 purchase per week for your social media fans! Like shoes? Think about how many followers will add you after posting your $1k new kicks each week. |

Not to hijack this thread, but how does that work? Or is such a thing not available to us little people?

@op Hope it works out the best for you. I chose a low paying job because it offered me personal freedom. But oh my how it has cost me in terms of financial freedom. |

Job 2 even though after factoring in federal and state taxes, plus additional commute time / costs, it will probably be more like 50-60% of the $66K difference.
Less work hours, shorter commute and lack of travel sound compelling for Job 1. So why do I say Job 2? Job 1 doesn't sound realistic for long in today's corporate environment. It seems ripe for elimination or consolidation with another position that will leave you doing just as much work as Job 2 somewhere down the road for less money than Job 2. Edit: Just saw post above about Job 1 so good luck with it.
