Max did the right thing and didn't overstretch things but Ham had to. Max on pole for the sprint is ideal and has to make a good start then Bot won't be trying so hard.

Seing that there may be a problem with the DRS flap on 44 car which is not compliant with the 85mm max gap, it's been referred to the stewards from Bauer.

MAX's rear wing got DRS issues , his rear wing was just flappering out of the correct DRS position (malfunction) !

After QF-3 , HAM the liar and the Wolf are been called by the race stewards !
His rear wing didn't passed the FIA regulations and is rejected . Disapproved !
HAM's rear wing is NOT according the FIA regulations ! Article 3.6.3 of the 2021 Formula 1 Technical Regulations !!!

As for the FIA regulations , in normal circumstances HAM the LIAR will get a grid penalty !
Probably a grid penalty will follow for the LIAR in the sprint race and in the race as well ...
So , he has to take the grid penalty from his PU replacement + the grid penalty of his cheating rear wing !

•HAM would therefore have to start Saturday’s sprint qualifying race from the 'back of the grid. He has already incurred a five-place penalty, for exceeding the maximum number of PU elements, which will be applied to the starting grid for Sunday’s grand prix.
