I really get a strong and solid impression of the design of this. Separated and inset kidneys are tasteful and proportional. Lower inlets are simpler than recent designs and evoke a more "carved out of a block" feel to the front fascia. Nothing feels 'tacked on' or afterthought in my humble personal opinion. Really optimistic on this design and hopeful about the swansong (?) 6MT 2-series ICE derivative. The simplicity of the ' no side vent ' works well to solidify the side and not break up the flow of the side profile. The most recent birds eye 3/4 really is flattering.

I need to see this thing in person. No point looking at leaks anymore…I'll either instantly like it or hate it.

One question...
Why is the grille so small? Kidding...

The headlights ruin the look because it's the only thing that isn't squared. It just looks very awkward.

This is one of the more interesting looking new vehicles in some time as nothing else out there looks like it and it stands out from the rest of the BMW lineup. More muscular than graceful. Very angular from the front with normal size kidney grills yet the curve ball of horizontal slats. Side profile as with the regular 2 series is clean and pleasing. The rear appears to be it's worst angle although the only photo we have seen is from an unflattering angle. My issue is the headlights and taillights. The headlights should have been designed for the front end rather than regular 2 series headlights adapted. The blob-like shape of the rear taillights makes the rear end look worse than it really is. As has been mentioned numerous times this introductory color choice is curious as it's straight up a strange color for a sporty car and the chalky blue doesn't go great with the black wheels and accents. I'm excited to see what this will look like in more traditional colors.

This car is hideous imo. If they wanted to go this route they would have been better off making a smaller version of the M4.
