Sao Paulo yellow would be a weird addition. The take rate on the G8x must be really really low. I almost never see them. |

My dealer is saying individual colors has been confirmed for MY25. I don’t know if I believe them.
So if Portimao Blue (Metallic) is confirmed, does that mean it will still be offered in Frozen? If so, I may have a tough choice on my hands. Ceramic is happening either way, but that’ll be a tough decision.

The info has come from someone high up in the food chain. Automatic will do 4 sec flat 0-60. Will gain roughly 10 pounds.. I was hoping they would reduce.

So did your source also confirm the +50 torque only applies to the auto?

So the 8AT slows down with the added hp/tq? Just what did they do to ADD weight? Not sure what food chain you deal with but something smells off... |

Have you driven (I mean really driven as in "lets see what ut can do") a MY23/24 G87 or G42 M240? Its no secret BMW's figures are skewed. You can google to find consistent figures in the mid to high 3s I have drag raced on NHRA tracks for many years so I have familiarityand experience with racing on a track. I also own both a MY23 G42 M240 and a MY23 G87 M2. Despite BMW's figures that the G42 M240 is quicker, the stock G87 was noticeably quicker in all phases (0-60, 1/8 and 1/4 mi). |

You do realize that power increase has already been disclosed. If I was a betting man, I would say it will NOT come with the flat bottmed steering wheel. Colors, there has been plenty of posted speculation. For this, its a wait and see... If you have read up on the i8.5, you would know as of now, its not an improvement over the i8.0. Oh, as long as you are throwing the "I know people" around, my best friend works for BMW NA, he has received no definite info on the MY25 changes, the G87 M2CS or LCI. |

Still curious where the added weight is from. While its not a lot, what are they supposedly changing/adding? |

No one is asking you to believe everything you read. If your friend doesn’t have the info, it doesn’t make mine any less credible. The changes will be all out there in couple of months for everyone to see. Have a good day!
