Any idea how quickly roads get cleared and down to wet pavement in the DC area? The car will be parked throughout any snow on Sunday and Monday but we plan on hitting the roads (highways) on Tuesday heading towards VA/NC if it’s down to wet tar. |

Awesome! Our relatives in DC are letting me put it in their garage for the snow storm tomorrow and then once it clears and the roads are free of snow/ice/slush we’ll be driving it for the remainder of our trip.

congrats on getting to Maine! I had full confidence you wouldn't crash. it just isn't that big a deal driving on summer tires when it is cold. just have to drive like a sane person!
LOL...i was out in my RWD E46 with summer tires today. upper 20's and patches of snow still on the roads around here in DC area. no fancy G87 traction control or ABS. no problems whatsoever... |
