I still believe that the launch in April is marketing, not the vehicle launch. BMW has not been specific about this. If I had to guess vehicle launch is going to be this Summer, June/July.

Not sure I buy into what a dealer's SA says. My friend works for BMW NA and has stated as recently as Monday of this week that they have no info with respect to timing of allocations, number of allocations or any delays of allocations/builds/deliveries.

UK order here. Just had an online chat with BMW UK, and my car is at status code 111, scheduled for build in week 14 ie w/c April 3rd. Not getting too excited yet, but still…

Apparently 1 week to build, 7-10 weeks to ship to UK, so anytime early to late June. I’m taking it all with a pinch of salt of course.

Fwiw, carbon roof is standard on UK cars.
