One of my "extra duties as assigned" in the Army was Squadron Photographer for the Cavalry unit I was in. I was furnished with large blocks of 35mm B&W film and allowed to shoot whenever and wherever I wished. I also had to shoot the weekly award ceremony and some pre-deployment recon stuff from helicopters. I spent a couple of afternoons every week in the darkroom.

Digital photography is soooo much easier.

I have a roll of film on my desk next to me right now. Found it while going through an old camera bag. i want to get it developed but haven't researched where to send it to yet.

I'm also worried because I have no idea what is on it. . . lol

That sounds like it would really mess up your recording. No wonder you got mad.

Luckily I didn't have that problem on The 7th Day.

Last albums I remember recording were a couple of Ozzy albums. Don't remember which ones, though.

Second thing to go... memory.

I remember getting an album on cassette for a birthday present that was really popular at school. I bought a dozen blank cassettes and used my twin tape deck blaster to make copies that I then sold at school for $1 each. .

I think it might have been Dire Straights Brothers in Arms.

... when you drop something and have to think about whether it is worth the trouble to bend over and pick it up, or just let it go.

Y3K is not as concerning as Y10K. Remember when gas prices first exceeded $1.00/gallon? What a mess that created at the pump!

Tell me about it! I was working my night job while in college, and every night had to go outside with a new gear set for each pump as the corporate HQ gas-pricing computer kept flipping our prices back and forth between $0.999 and $1.009 every other night for weeks.....
