Here's another amazing live performance at KEXP. You can watch the whole performance but this is the track Forgotten People which is cool. Dude is jamming on the sitar. Sound is so good.

Thievery Corporation is one of the best bands, period. They have such a unique style/sound. They look like they came right out of the 70s on this one. Bass player is a riot.

This goes back to my days of being into "shoegazing" bands. In fact, this is one of the first bands that were given that label (genre). There were a lot of cool bands in the 90s, many from the UK. I saw some of them at small live houses/pubs in Seattle which was great.

Can't believe it's already 30+ years ago this came out. I'd be watching performances by bands like this one on a given weekend, then a grunge rock band the next. Man those were the days! I liked the 90s music scene better than any other.

4AD record label was one of my favorites. A lot of interesting bands.

Thanks Rick. When I have some time I'll dig up some more cool stuff from this genre. Listening to a few of these songs from Lush gave me flashbacks.
