I think they conducted two fair and thorough reviews of the 230i M Sport and M240ix. I'd like to see their RWD M240i review as well. I think there will be an improvement in handling over the AWD, though the M240i still carries 229 pounds more than the 230i. That's a fair chunk of additional mass to move around corners regardless of power output. I believe the Euro-spec M240i was put on a stricter diet; I'm not sure why BMW couldn't have shaved off a few extra pounds for the US-spec model... At any rate, it will be a fun ride!

But there are no other 2dr RWD 'sports cars' in the mid $40k range. I got the 230 because:

• - MX-5 RF was too small.
• - GR86, had a first gen. it was was fine but comfort was lacking and mpg was terrible
• - Veloster N. This is what I was coming out of. Not good for a daily commuter on the highway. terrible mpg.
• - Golf R. Could not find one within 500 miles to look at not to mention test drive. also terrible reviews on the infotainment system. I didn't want to deal with that everyday.

I'm curious if there is something else out there. I don't think there is. I'm not a sedan guy. Has to be 2dr coupe or hatch. Though I did look at the A3/S3 but was out of my price range.
