While I'm not blown away by what I'm seeing, maybe there's still a small chance I'll like it when I'm seeing it in person. I'm envisioning:
- Toronto Red with Cognac interior, with carbon buckets.
- MP rear wing, but regular quad pipes
- Drop and wheels that actually works well with the car, IMO it does wonders for the G80

^that is a lot of what ifs though...
Same ones I've observed.

Totally agree, thought the same thing. The lighting in the pics seems to mostly be overhead and the wheels just look like black holes which takes away from the car.

Noticed that as well. My first though was that it needs a drop and spacers too.

Let's not kid ourselves, it's obvious by now, ZB blows.

Yeah I get it, it's a photoshop but it's combining two real cars...top portion of the M240 and the rear of the leaks.

Patience is not the ability to wait, but the ability to keep a good attitude while waiting.

I know this pic is dark and a repost, but I messed with the edit to try and get a better idea of the shape and I think this is the best visual we've got to date.

One interesting thing I couldn't perceive before was the way that the front fender actually bulges all the way into the front bumper which helps me makes sense of the front end design much better.

Nice work. Really shows off the wide and aggressive angles we saw in the spy shots. ZB ruins everything.

Just a refresher:

Gives me Holden vibes. In a good way, I've always liked modern Holdens.

Personally, i do like a lot the side profile. It works really well.

The more pics (real or shopped) that get posted the more optimistic Im becoming again. Can't wait for the official reveal.

The M performance bumper with the stacked exhaust might be prioritized over some other options - hope its not astronomical because I'm really preferring it over the normal based on leaks so far.

I'm going to reserve judgement until I see the entire car in pictures, not odd angles, and really until I see it in real life. The first set of pics didn't do the car any justice. It may have had missing parts not put on just yet and it was shot quickly at strange angles that warped the entire car.

Or, you know, the sky is falling and the value of my F87C has gone up so quickly that I might as well sell it and take the proceeds. The real question is, what color Chirons should I get?

Never had any issues with the front or profile of the car but have always had reservations over the rear, even before any leaks. When I first saw the camo cars at the Nürburgring drop the plastic covers and you could get a hint of the shape I got nervous. Still nervous for the reveal, as I'm sure we all are. The G80/2 are total butterfaces, I pray the G87 isn't a butterass.

Been eagerly awaiting this one since selling F80 M3 (wanted the G series M3 to be my next daily, but I vomit whenever I see it). Pretty disappointed so far in what's been revealed and there's not much else out there in the market that seems like a fun daily at a reasonable price. Odds of a new Lexus ISF are pretty bad and I don't see BMW fixing the M4/M4 front ends.

Still debating between M6 and Auto, however. Have manual weekend toys already. If it was a dual clutch, that'd be a no-brainer for a bruiser of a daily.

Anyone think these fenders can solve the fender grill exemption?

If you're willing to go all in on the boy racer look. I'm sure those will be either gloss black or carbon fiber, so it won't be subtle unless you go with black sapphire as your exterior. I'm actually interested to see the m performance version of this car, minus the exhaust.

If you get the carbon package those could look pretty good. Guess we'll see soon enough.

Based on my wife’s G42 M240i and having driven several G8Xs the M2 is going to be a complete riot behind the wheel as a daily. With the wide hunches and boxy aero it should look like a mean mofo in the right color.

Should be an overall astounding value, just as our M240i is. The M240i also has all kind of flaws when focusing on individual details but for some magic reason non of it really matters as a whole. Great car.

From what we have seen so far the G87 just appears to be ugly. The handling reviews are great though. Not thrilled about having a automatic transmission in one instead of DCT.

Good thing my F87 has only 17K miles. I can wait for the LCI to see if they clean up the exterior looks.
