I just wished they had kept that classic BMW allure that one usually expects with this manufacturer, just maybe with a modern flair but they instead decided to green-light this lovechild of a Scion TC and STI
I'm 24 and I would absolutely not drive this. Not because it's too aggressive, but because the front end looks cross-eyed and the back has too many weird mishmashing angles. If it looked more cohesive I would consider picking one up to add to my E92.
In other words, you can't afford one 👍
You must've missed the part where I pretty clearly stated that if car had a cohesive design it would've been on my short list of next cars.

Wow, the front and rear are hideous on the new M2. No amount of time would let a sane man warm up to that monstrosity, one hunid.

The only semi-decent profile is the side. Not a fan of any new BMW product myself athough I'd rock a G81 and "live" with the front end yadidimean?!

A few shades darker, to the point where the color didn't look washed out in the sunlight, and I think it would've been a winner. I was intrigued when people first started talking about ZB on this board a few months ago but the reality is a bit underwhelming.

The car's looks overall continue to grow on me. The only view I find truly objectionable is the rear straight on.

ZB looks better in the shade.

Yes, ZB kills! I'm quite happy that BMW chose to launch with such a non status-quo color. I can't speak for anywhere else, but here in the states, every car, from minivans to HO sports cars—are red, white, black, or silver. Blah.

Weird, it's running 829M winter wheels but with summer tires. Also, first I've seen the rear spoiler in black instead of body color.

Looks great here actually. Need to see it in the flesh before deciding on ZB or Brooklyn Grey

I will say the black colored spoiler adds a much cleaner, cohesive, aggressive look as opposed to the body colored one.

First mod ill be doing is adding a slightly bigger carbon fiber spoiler + matching front lip

Subtle mods but completely transforms the aesthetics imo

Man a Toyota TRD Pro electric blue would’ve looked HOT on this car.

ANY blue would’ve looked great. Just cannot get into this blue.

Unique? Absolutely.

Saw it today in the flesh ,(or in the metal at a BMW CCA Cars & Coffee in Holmdel, NJ. Not really a fan of this color on this car. A little overcast so the color didn't photo capture ot well.

Edit yes, it had 3 pedals.

IMO, I think it's really ok to just accept... ZB was just not the best launch color for the M2.

You can say it's a ok for a novelty color if they wanted to make it one of the 4-5 colors they are offering this in. People show pics of Porsches with a similar blue. I've even mentioned I've seen Lambo's with similar shade of blue. So no need to hate on the color.

But I don't think any of these companies have made or would make this color as their launch color for their high performance variant of their sports car.

Ugh... it's like looking at a powerful lion or tiger... with ZB nail polish on their claws.

My opinion... but pure white would have been a better launch color than this. Imagine if they used ZB on the M3 or M4.

BMW should be making these appearances to these events in some of the other colors.

How are these cars out and about? Are they owned by BMW and driven for publicity?

The car's lines were a little too chiseled but it had really a nice wide rear, although the color didn't really do anything for them, they kind of got lost a bit.

The front was a little too boxy and busy for me with those big square intakes and that gaping radiator hole. I think a darker color or frozen color would be a little more aggressive and show off the lines and width more (as does frozen dark grey with the G8x) and blend in the open holes ( I used that trick with my G82 with Tanzanite BM).

IMO, it makes the car look too soft. A color like that is probably better on a GT3 RS or a Ford GT. The interior and controls were definitely and upgrade over the previous M2, looking more like a M car.

Yes. Note the Georgia distributor tag. BMW NA has facilities within Atlanta area. No clue why it it is wearing a GA tag versus a NJ tag given that the car was seen in NJ and NA HQ is also in NJ.

It's all gravy baby! People either loved or loathed the original M Coupe aka Clownshoe (what I own) so it's all a matter of opinion

These early released cars could part Frankenstein. I don't think they are sold to the public. They might be driven/loaned to insiders/employees to do late-stage testing/creating market buzz.
